Anegada is an enigma. It's an only coral atoll amongst an archipelago of volcanically formed islands and sheltered from the Atlantic Ocean by the Horse Shoe Reef; the forth largest barrier reef in the world. On the Caribbean side a pristine and seemingly endless seascape is dotted by mangrove islands.
“The reef that surrounds and protects this island creates a shallow, lagoon-like environment, which is ground zero for B.V.I flats fishing.” (Fly Fishing in Salt Waters Magazine, Sep 8th, 2000). The magazine rates Anegada’s flats number one amongst the top 10 flats in the British Virgin Islands.
